The analyst will work as a part of the Knight Platform team at Legacy Knight to develop macro investment themes, conduct analysis and other due diligence on investment opportunities, provide support for existing investment fund updates, and assist with investor relations communications. The size and structure of Legacy Knight allows analysts the opportunity to experience the full cycle deal evaluation and capital formation process, and assume moderate to high amounts of responsibility. The role will provide deep exposure to a variety of asset classes across the alternative investment landscape. Candidates must possess a strong growth mindset, be able to quickly grasp and apply new concepts, and have a passion for learning about alternative investments.

• Bachelor’s degree from undergraduate institution with a record of academic achievement required; finance or accounting background preferred
• Dynamic personality and capability to quickly grasp new concepts, industries, and business models
• Ability to perform high level research and master market analysis tools (PitchBook)
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and verbal/written communication skills required
• Independent-minded with entrepreneurial nature
• Interest in financial markets
• Ability to multi-task and function in a fast-paced environment
• Strong MS Office Word skills required (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

• Assist team in management of deal pipeline
• Develop industry and market research
• Prepare analysis reports and snapshots
• Research and perform valuations using common industry techniques
• Prepare ad hoc financial analysis and assist with financial modeling
• Support team with preparing investment memoranda and materials
• Manage and maintain client data within the CRM system
